Welcome to Hill City School!
Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year! As the new Principal of Hill City School, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your children and serve this amazing community. My professional background is in elementary education, from teaching kindergarten to fifth grade. As I shift into the leadership role as principal, I will bring all these experiences with me as I partner with each of you to ensure your student’s success. 

On a personal note, my wife, Lindsey, is the school counselor here at Hill City School. We welcomed our baby boy, Bowen, to the world this past April and have learned what it means to be parents.

Starting a new school year is always an exciting time, full of possibilities and opportunities for growth. To ensure a smooth transition back to school, I wanted to share some important information with you:

1. Back to School Event: Our annual Back to School event will take place on Wednesday, August 30th from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for you and your student to familiarize yourselves with the school, meet their teachers, and ask any questions you may have. 
2. School Supplies: A detailed list of required supplies for each grade level can be found on our school website. School supplies will also be available at our Back to School event on August 30th. 
3. First Day of School: The academic year will kick off on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023 for ALL students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Staff members will be readily available to provide assistance and guidance as needed.
4. Communication: Hill City School believes in the importance of open and transparent communication. Throughout the year, you will receive regular updates via our school’s website, email newsletters, and digital platforms.
